Bookaroo, Children’s Literature Festival

Aviva, Bookaroo

Bookaroo held India’s first festival of children’s literature in Delhi in 2008. Bookaroo, The Children’s Literature Festival is now an annual event in New Delhi and includes Bookaroo in the City, where book related activities are held in schools across New Delhi. The festival went to Srinagar in May 2011 and there are plans to take it to other cities across India. We are also working to encourage creative on-line activities through our website and will compile a directory of the best children’s books in India.
The 2011 Bookaroo, Children’s Literature Festival will be held in the beautiful ambience of the Sanskriti Kendra, Anandgram, Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, New Delhi.
